It's a clear night here, no clouds, but I'm surrounded by tall trees, so can't see any moon yet, it's 9pm and twilight, might start seeing it in an hour.

It's cloudy and warm, and there it is, through the clouds, big as ever

It is just coming up here. It is spectacular. Can't wait till later. Sorry I don't know how to put photo's on the internet.

ABC radio news just said “there’s still time to catch the solar eclipse.”
Good lord these people are dumb!

I feel a strange sort of excitement. I hope nothing bad will happen, but I can strongly feel a change coming.

Took a long nap this afternoon to be able to see
the "event." We're in northern NW Montana and just
had 2 inches of fresh snow...It is really beautiful at
this time of night with the bright moon lighting up
the sky & snow...

Problem, tho...snow clouds moving in. I may not be able
to see the eclipse. I keep going out to check though.
Supposed to be able to see the deepest red color until
around 7:00 A.M. MT here. (Keep your fingers crossed for
me! I would really like to see this.)

Just checked again...snow clouds are starting to thin
and the moon is really bright. I don't see any sign of
the orange color, though. Will check around 5:00 A.M.

P.S. Have 2 bug-out bags packed just in case of a
tremor up here. I'm noticing a definite up-tick in the
world quakes since last night. Most of the bigger quakes
from the super moons happen a day or 2 after the fact....
So we are on alert up here. Had a 7.0 pt. in Lincoln last
summer, so we wouldn't be surprised to see some movement
from this gravity-pull.

I see the moon right now. Its very bright, but its white as ususal, not blue....

Or red..

Clear in northern Arkansas at the moment, and a really bright moon overhead. Should be a good viewing...for others. It won't start until I'm already at work :(
Might have to find an excuse to be outside at the right time...
