The only reason you hate social media is because it has proven most conspiracy theories to be absolute horseshit

Let's start by looking at what social media has done for women. There is a widely held conspiracy that the elites want all people stuffed with GMO cancer-causing foods full of pesticides. And yet what are women doing on Instagram and Snapchat and Facebook? They are posting year-round pics of them in the gym exercising and eating healthy foods. The demand for organic and fresh produce is higher than ever. Women now want wheatgrass juice, carrot juice, fruits and vegetables instead of pepsi, sprite, and red meat. Women are literally changing their lives by the thousands in the name of vanity and image. Men too by the way. lots of men too, but it's mainly women that are obsessed with healthy eating and booty progress pics in the gym right now. GMO is most definitely out among the normies and organic is in.

There is supposed to be a conspiracy about how everyone is just sheep following each other along and agreeing with each other. No critical thinking. And yet due to Twitter and Facebook we now have an America (and indeed a world) more divided than ever in political discourse. You cannot find a topic (Trump, guns, brexit, transgenders, immigration, refugees) that is not hotly debated by people on social media with all sorts of differing opinions and views. To suggest that it's as simple as liberal vs conservative is ridiculous to anyone who spends any time on social media.

Apparently all the elites want marijuana forbidden and kept from the public. They just don't want us smoking the miracle herb and won't legalize it. And yet due to social media again and the popularity of getting stoned and getting high amongst the millennial generation, we now have the most relaxed marijuana "laws" in the history of the world. You cannot find a teen on Instagram who isn't openly posting about "getting high dude" and nobody gives a shit. There is literally nobody prohibiting us from having marijuana. Just go on social media and put a stoner hashtag. Millions of people openly smoking weed like it's no big deal. Where's the conspiracy there?

There are tons more conspiracy theories that social media has obliterated but i don't want to make the post too long. This is the reason why most in the conspiracy community are anti-social media. It has made most of you look foolish.
