Anonymous Coward User ID: 75917972 United States 04/17/2018 07:54 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I would never give my DNA to anyone in a kit. Maybe you should use your skills to trace and track this guy and maybe what and who makes the kit and where it came from . Nothing is coincidence. Use your skills. Track the number, the mailing etc. Don't give anyone your DNA..you may become a victim of real IDENTITY theft. They could plant it somewhere and you won't be able to deny it is YOU. Be very careful. Start digging for the truth. |

I have been all over the world (that was many moons ago...LOL) in the military. There could be a mini me running around somewhere. Someone is looking for a specific DNA match it sounds like. No DNA to anyone. Very! Too surreal. There's two men in my state alone with the same first and last names. That translates to, at least, 100 men in America if we use my 1 state as a quick and dirty population mean. The question is, however, has anyone else gotten this call? I would google your last name with family dna research (or any such variable) to find out what they might be looking for. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72453294 What's so important to have a potential descendant's confirmation? Do you believe you fought in the katabolé? Well this is not about reincarnation or past lives. No. Are they hunting family members of the Prussian Royals who plunged Europe into WW 1? Not saying I'm one, BTW. Although we do have a lot of Frederick's in our family tree, coincidentally. |

Senior Forum Moderator User ID: 76466730 United Kingdom 04/17/2018 08:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | About 4 weeks ago, out of the blue, I received a call from Oregon. The man spun a yarn about, 1. He was the Administrator of a group of people, and 2. He had picked me out of all the persons in America with the same last name, and 3. that THEY were focusing on me specifically as the long lost great, great, great, great grandson of the Prussian King, Fredrick the Great. Quoting: USCG Popeye A little backstory about me. I am a Detective, a Private Detective. Guys if there's one thing I know, it's how to find people. That's our bread and butter, finding UnSubs for law firms and "interested parties." You can't hide from us. So I asked the Administrator how did they come up with my name out of the many whom have my same first name and last name match? He couldn't tell me. He honestly had no clue what he was doing in locating UnSubs like I do every day. No databases. No friend of a friend or family relationship correlation matching of any kind. Just out of the blue, called me up and told me he was going to be sending me a DNA test kit. I agreed to see if he actually would send it. Sure enough, the kit arrived in the mail a week later. Suffice it to say, I'm apprehensive. What's going on here friends? Has anyone else had this call, please? Lol....... go check and see if any of these are your relatives.. Scam end off.
