Because I got the same thing Now a coworker has it I used prescribed eye drops from a doctor but the eye infection came back It's not pink eye I tried boric acid powder in water eye drops with an eye dropper. It keeps the infection low but it won't kill it The best results for me is the honey vinegar solution. I rubbed it in my eyes. I did not dilute it in water. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76600334 After much medical analysis I am told I have an unknown variant! As in they don't have a clue so I've ditched the doctors/eye specialists and seek other ideas... Have been prescribed several types of antibiotics and given every cream and eye drop under the sun which at best improves it but nothing so far has cured it. The best remedy I've found so far is eye-baths of sea salt solution, it stings like hell but way better than any so far prescribed stuff. Also I have noticed it is temperature related as in I don't get it in winter but as soon as it warms up it reoccurs.. And before anyone suggests it I have considered moving to Iceland but would prefer too stay put lol. Any useful info welcome... Keep your hair and face super clean. Blanlets pillow cases and sheets should be washed every few days., especially pillow cases. This should help. |

I will try the honey/vinegar solution but I just hope to cure it... |

Forum Administrator 05/20/2018 05:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Forget all the stupid concoctions people are giving you. Want relief? Got to your health store and buy a bottle of colloidal silver. Spray in eyes twice a day. Wash pillow cases often. Colloidal silver kicks ass. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74989850 T For Texas, T For Tennessee! The virtue of courage is a prerequisite for the practice of all other virtues, because otherwise one is virtuous only when virtue has no cost. There are times when something needs to be done, and yet we know that if we step up and do this needful thing, we will pay a heavy personal price. -C.S. Lewis |

Must be something that's spreading My coworker got it bad His eye swelled up the size of a grape He's using sty drops from the pharmacy I told him it's not a sty I told him about the honey vinegar solution. He said thanks. But he's continuing with the sty drops, so I told him to go to a Doctor His swelling went down when I told him to put hot water on a clean thick washcloth, wring out the hot water and press it on the eye. Hot and damp washcloth |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28362968 I'd give a brand for you that works but it would probably get deleted. Just get a dropper and drop it right in the corners of your eyes. Anonymous Coward User ID: 72976654 United States 05/20/2018 06:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | And it's not pink eye It's something else I think it's the same bacteria that can give someone an ear infection But it's in the eye My eye looked normal during the day But I would wake up with gook in my eye. Not anymore though with the honey vinegar solution that I rubbed in my eye It burns at first because of the vinegar. I keep my eye closed, the eye tears up and than the burning from the vinegar goes away And I leave it on. On my day off from work |
