Bible Proof The Rapture Theory is False
Some people think you can extinguish the word of God. I am here to tell them that they are WRONG. Before the end comes, it will be shared the whole world over.

Today I am sharing why the Rapture Theory is a false doctrine.

Scripture teaches us TO KEEP WATCH FOR AND LEARN to identify false teachings especially as the end draws closer, and the rapture theory is on of the most prominent.

Indeed we are warned AND TOLD TO WATCH

9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

WE ARE TOLD TO TEACH AND CORRECT!

2 Timothy 4:1-4 King James Version (KJV)
4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

YES, the rapture is exactly one of false teachings we are told to watch for and be wary of.

It is rife with inconsistencies, assumption and forced supposition. It is entirely in opposition to Jesus Christ's own testimony on what transpires.

In order to have a rapture theory work, you MUST IGNORE JESUS CHRISTS OWN WORDS.

Time and time again, it has been proven that the rapture is not biblical.

IN FACT THE BIBLE WARNS US TO AVOID THESE TYPES OF FABLES.

In another thread, someone an AC I believe, posted a personal response to one of my own on the topic.

Here is what they said;

"Os,
It makes no difference.
He died for you.
It is not conditional on The Tribulation.
He knows if You are His.
He knows."

YOU KNOW WHAT? I AGREE WITH THEM!! I even let them know in that thread.

The point is this, Jesus is the ONLY answer. Placing your faith in a false doctrine is only going to lead you further away from Christ. NO rapture needs to occur to save us, because through our belief and faith in Jesus, we are already saved.

If you have doubt that God can supernaturally save us while at the same time, He extends His Wrath to others, then you are not trusting in God and you don't have faith in Jesus.

Consider reading Psalm 91 to see how God takes care of His own during tribulation. [link to biblehub.com]

The whole idea of a rapture is ludicrous. The only people who need fear anything are those who break GODS LAW and the rapture theory is a grand deception designed to get you to do just that!!

Now, there are a lot of people that claim that the law was nailed to the cross and we are now under grace, but that also simply isn't true.

Jesus Himself says that he didn't come to do away with the law, but to uphold it. He showed us HOW to be free from it!

The only way to be free from the law is TO FOLLOW IT. THAT IS WHAT IT MEANS TO KEEP THE FAITH OF JESUS. INDEED, Jesus says that all who would follow after Him, MUST PICK UP THEIR OWN CROSS AND BEAR IT. MUST ENDURE PERSECUTION AS HE DID AND STILL DOES!

24Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 27For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

I can go on and on, but others have already taken the time to dismantle the false rapture narrative. I suggest anyone wishing to learn the truth read the following website. [link to www.end-times-prophecy.org]

Here is a lead in and another link at the bottom should you choose to read further.

The Rapture Theory

John 17:15 ...'I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.'

There is a teaching today that is rife within the Christian world, called the rapture. What is the rapture theory? It is believed by those who hold to this theory (and there are MANY who do), that the "church" will be raptured away to heaven and then the earth will continue for a period of seven years (called the tribulation) in which the inhabitants of the earth will be plunged into a time of great trouble and strife (more so than now). So according to this teaching there is a separation to take place between the saved and the lost BEFORE the end of the world.

In this teaching we are also told that Christ will return in two "phases". The first will be a "quiet" affair The Rapturewith the saints being raptured away. And then the second phase after the seven year tribulation will be the "glorious, triumphant" return, which according to this teaching, will usher in the 1000 year millennial reign on earth (which is also a false teaching).

Let me quickly show you an example of the weakness of the rapture doctrine - I came across a recent article stating '10 Irrefutable Proofs' for the rapture. Here are the first two 'irrefutable proofs' they quoted:

No, what I am saying is a rapture isn't necessary and Jesus nullifies its occurrence in His own testimony as scripture bears up.

Thank you for posting the truth.

THERE IS NO RAPTURE.

Any Christian that is around in the end times will have to be strong and face persecution. You WILL suffer; you may be killed. There will be no last minute rescue to prevent our suffering.

If your church teaches rapture prophecy, you better find a new church because brothers & sisters - they are lying to you!!!

John 12:25

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

Stop looking for "an easy way out" because there will not be one!

Pay attention to the way Jesus was mocked, beaten, judged unfairly, ect... because THAT will happen to us as well and it has been written as such:

Mathew 24:9

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

^^^^ THAT is the truth and what WILL happen.

We must be strong as Christ followers, yet not be deceived.

God bless you all!

Anti-Catholic.

Roman Catholicism is not a Christian religion.

There is a mass rapture, before the LORD's wrath is visited upon the Earth. The elect, have to endure Satan's wrath, but are spared from the LORD's wrath.

People confuse that rapture with the 144,000(as everyone wants to be special, even though it is clearly laid out who the 144,000 are. Virginal, blood descendants of the Israelite tribes).

OP, bless you for still trying to correct people on this. I'm well over it. Some of the most hateful, spiteful, backbiting talk comes from those espousing this false doctrine. It's quite unpleasant.

Should we live through the Great Tribulation, we will be caught up with Yeshua when He returns. That's what's in scripture. It's Yeshua came to make a Way for us to be reconciled, and Yeshua's return to claim His Bride and rule the world righteously after that for 1,000 years. Not Yeshua One and a half everyone "good enough" gets out of the Great Tribulation.

OSAS is false from the get go.

The entire chapter of Luke 15, is the OSAS believers foundation. However, if anyone bothered to read it they would see that the "Lost sheep," being found, involves repentance, and the "Prodigal Son," involves repentance, the very chapter repeats the word "repent," more than three times.

With the one lost sheep, the angel in heaven rejoice over one lost sinner who "repents," more than 99 just people.

In the Prodigal Son parable, the son realizes the state he's put himself in, and he says, "I'll go to my father and repent."

OSAS removes repentance.

If you really want the truth, check out Shepherds Chapel. They have a live feed on YouTube. They truly teach the Bible, chapter by chapter, verse by verse and book by book. The Instead of Christ will come at the 6th Trump and then after 5 months, not 7 years, the true Christ will come to Earth for the 1000 year millennium. That will be the 7th Trump. In that 5 months, family will turn on family, friends on friends...especially those that think others aren't believing in the Anti-Christ. They will beg the AC to save them too, not realizing that most of what we've been taught as Christians is false. All you have to do is read the book, God is very clear...even a child could understand. I'm still learning myself but so happy that I found this church.

It rankles me to see false doctrine being presented as if it were fact. I feel I am duty bound to expose what scripture really says.

I hope people read the link I posted. As I said, many others have done the work already, showing why this theory is so dangerous and why scripture warns us to avoid getting snared by it.

Re: Bible Proof The Rapture Theory is False
Aren't we keeping our lamps full with oil in case He comes like a thief in the night?

How do you know which verses or phrases in the NT have not been inserted or deleted?

None have been inserted...

God preserves His word.

Research it.

God sustains EVERYTHING...even the ground that you walk on.

And you don't think He can sustain His word?

Colossians 1:17

He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. NLT

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. KJV

And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. ESV

Doubt is a terrible thing...stop listening to the lies of the devil.

Re: Bible Proof The Rapture Theory is False
Makes sense.

Took me a second to translate. ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED is also a false teaching. You are correct.
