Yesterday they tested the urine and it came back with nothing so today they did they did the ultrasound and unfortunately the vet says that my kitty has a tumor. I really don't know where to go from here.
His appetite was good when this first started now he's not eating. He is still drinking though. I really don't know what to do.
I thought there might be a chance but yesterday my husband was given more bad news by his doctor...he isn't able to return to work for two more weeks. So we have no money.
The vet said to up his dosage on his medicine and we will go from there.
Quoting: MostlySunshine So sorry to hear everything you all are going through! My earlier post was about ways ...and hoping for you ...to get more diagnostic information before having to pay for an ultrasound First, did an actual radiologist read the X-ray and/or ultrasound? Do you have an actual report from them? Usually, ultrasound characteristics of a tumor can be assessed to tell if a mass looks benign or not Do you know what those characteristics of the tumor are? Size...location...in/near an organ...superficial or deep...echotexture...etc. Ultrasound actually is my area of expertise. For humans though... but still has the same properties in cats and dogs
