THESE ARE GOOD EXAMPLES It really depends on what you listen too. The music I listen too and have since 1992 is high in beauty and positive vibes. But, if you listen to main stream music pushed by a certain tribe then yes, you will be listening to crap music and get a negative vibe. This tribe requires that negativity must flow between the races of man in order to sow division. Examples of great new music: Last Edited by samOmighty on 05/16/2020 11:20 AM |

It always reminds me of the months of the transition from the 60's to the 70's, 1969-70. What an amazing epoch to be a kid! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77557171 Gewish musical genius Burt Bacharach |

If you are trying to lump all todays music together as one thing it only means you haven't looked around enough. Lot's of great positive music out today and thats from a 52 year old dead head. WE NEED MORE BEAUTY IN MUSIC AGAIN. THESE ARE GOOD EXAMPLES -------------------------- Each generation has their own music. 60's was great and also corny .Kind of souless if you ask me until Motown appeared. Obviously this post and thread are for those who like their music lily white. That's okay. And white people back then couldn't dance. Today's young whites know how to dance and have rhythm. |

WE NEED MORE BEAUTY IN MUSIC AGAIN. THESE ARE GOOD EXAMPLES Lazy Day, Spanky and Our Gang, 1967 My sister used to say this was my theme song, when I was 3 then. Cowsills, same year. They were the inspiration for the TV Show "The Partridge Family." Their mother escorted them on their tours and PERFORMED with them. How cool (or uncool) is that? They didn't seem to mind. Then ABC came to them wanting to do a TV show about their touring with their mom. Then ABC backed out and did the show anyway, without them. HOW UNCOOL. So, we would have had "The Cowsill Family" instead of "The Partridge Family." |

WE NEED MORE BEAUTY IN MUSIC AGAIN. THESE ARE GOOD EXAMPLES Everyone of a certain generation then, has a favorite record or two, or three, etcetera; I call us "B.. o.. o.. m.. e.. r s" (I found out we're not allowed to post that term on here) and "Latter B.. o.. o.. m.. e.. r.. s," the latter being those kids born in the early 60's, the last of the kids with WWII parents, as I have, with much older siblings, born after the war and during the "b.. o.. o.. .m.." of the 1950's. The latter b.. o.. o.. m.. e.. r.. s had their older siblings to thank for their interest in music of the 1960's, by being around it as they were experiencing it as well. I had a record collection at age 3 already, 1967. The first actual record I ever bought for myself was a Beatles 45 rpm, months before they broke up. 2 of them, actually, "Hey Jude," and "Let It Be," from their "Let It Be" album, released September of 1970. By the early 70's, I had inherited all my older siblings' 45 rpm Beatles and other records, albums, tapes, posters, etc., when they went off to college. ====================================== I had posted a Cowsills video earlier, I forgot that I had wanted to post my favorite song of their, off the same album. "Heaven Held" has a hauntingly beautiful melody and it shows their range and enormous talent as just a group of children with a band and an ENORMOUS sound to expose their same sized talent. They always seemed like much more experienced, older musicians than they were. Heaven Held, 1967: |

WE NEED MORE BEAUTY IN MUSIC AGAIN. THESE ARE GOOD EXAMPLES It is suppose to be an ancient argument; does life imitate art, or the other way around? I cannot believe anyone, with an average IQ or higher cannot see the immediate effects that "art" has on life--immediate and profound--especially music. So, OP, I agree with you. Just how to implement this is the question--especially as our media is owned and controlled by perverts, freaks, and criminals. |

THESE ARE GOOD EXAMPLES America has been under a blood curse since November 22, 1963. It is no coincidence that America's "Golden Age" ended in the 60's. The only way to reverse the curse is for the truth to come out regarding the JFK assassination and for the nation-state responsible to be held accountable. Trump had his chance in October, 2017 to reverse the curse but he chickened-out in the face of a little pressure from the Neocon Pompeo. The US has never been the same again. *** Good deeds bring rewards, bad actions bring troubles. That is a law of the universe. *** |
