I had that happen to me. The bear was pretty cool so I let her do it multiple times. After a while, the dog thought better of it though. Black bears are awesome.

Oh HELL no! Cute as this is, I'd shit my pants if I saw that. I can deal with the coyote and wild hog population, but bears? Not unless I've got a center-fire rifle on me when I stepped out..

I did a youtube search of "bear swinging in backyard hammock" and there was all sorts of different videos of bears doing this.

They are very common here in Asheville.
This was really cute. I loved the UPS note also.

I ran into a few of these guys a couple a weeks ago. They are pretty timid but I still wound't want to corner one.

Haha...one time I went to a drive-in campground just outside of town for lunch during a downpour, and after eating my fill of KFC I thought I'd seen a skinny tall stray black dog off in the distance. So I grabbed up all that was left of my lunch and went to feed it. As it turned out, it was a soaking wet black bear that was way-way skinny. I didn't have my glasses on otherwise I might have figured that one out, none the less, I called the bear over and threw a shit tonne of chicken its way(not knowing it was a bear btw) And it was as happy to accept my offer as a stray dog would've been. Again, I love these bumble bears and they are always welcome anywhere I am.

I never understood why, when people see a black bear in their yard they take a video of it. I would think to myself, hey, dinner and a rug.
