Humans are largely a problem because of our isolation.

We're like parent-less children.

And just like children without parents are more prone to crime, us, in our isolation and ignorance, often resort to negative things.

It's not like we don't have the potential to be good. We do. It's that we've been dealt an absolutely shitty hand.

With regards to the universe, we're like orphaned children in a dark world with no loving overseers to guide us.

And before anyone bothers to give me some nonsense about how the Bible, or some other such book was given to us as a guide, that's irrelevant and bares no connection to what I'm talking about, because it cannot be authenticated.

When you never met the person who dictated the writings, it's natural to be wary and/or disbelieving - especially given how much deception goes on here.

Humans, as far as we know, are utterly alone in the universe. So it's really no surprise at all that we've grown problematic.

Blame our creator for being a downright shitty parent and abandoning us to fend for ourselves.
