France has deployed soldiers to Reunion in a bid to stem violence on the Indian Ocean island after protests over fuel prices descended into riots and looting.

Demonstrations in the remote French territory entered a sixth day on Thursday as nationwide opposition to the government’s decision to raise petrol duties continues to rage on.

They have open borders because they are imperialists not internationalists.

In two world wars, France and Britain brought colonial soldiers to Europe to fight for France and England. They give citizenship to anybody who fights in the French Foreign Legion. They have to give citizenship to Africans and Indian Ocean islanders whose fathers have fought for France.

The USA has Green Card soldiers too.

The solution is to mind their own business, leave their colonies, defend their own borders.... oops too late.
