you do not set up an experiment to succeed or fail

you set up an experiment to test a hypothesis...not prove it or disprove it...the results of that experiment do that

and then you repeat it over and over and record the results....that is how you prove or disprove a hypothesis

not by setting out to prove or disprove something...if you set out with a lean in one direction, your results will be skewed and worthless
