[link to www.whitehouse.gov (secure)] Quoting: refraktor This ^^^^ If it goes 31 days, all of them have to go through a rehiring process at which time they will have a new 90 probationary period. After that, they will be evaluated and either be cut or fully hired. From link: "(i) A probationary period should be used as the final step in the hiring process of a new employee. Supervisors should use that period to assess how well an employee can perform the duties of a job. A probationary period can be a highly effective tool to evaluate a candidate’s potential to be an asset to an agency before the candidate’s appointment becomes final." Let's HOPE this is what happens! It's not only fair to everyone -even the slackers- but it's also legal! Trump is a fucking genius and he deserves all the support we can give him! And NONE OF THEM can claim they just learned their jobs and need more time like a real new employee would be if they were training, they've already been doing their jobs. |

How could they resist a prolonged shutdown when he made it so easy to blame him?" Quoting: Gringo-Crackerº 100% logical. This occurred to me last night. It's the only explanation for what would have been political suicide for ANY previous President. He wanted to make absolutely sure, the entire world heard it. Isn't this their own DC way? their tactic? they get their pollsters out there and associate phrases, optics and psyop type shit to saddle opponents. Cuck and the Nance NPC, they leapt at the chance. Then proceeded to stay on it for the past 3 weeks. But he beat them to it. It's becoming obvious. undeniable even, This was on purpose and that could only mean it's about to get purged. Troops coming home makes more sense. These Fed fat asses will be LIVID. Then the Mueller will fall flat. Then FISA, The spygate, Then fed reset then martial law for a minute. These people are stupid. The RIFfed will blame pedovore cuck and the Pelose. |

They are also almost always offered only to the rank/file and never Mgmnt. Let's hope that changes as well as eliminating all seniority-based protocols. The BIG step would be to fully eliminate those vacated jobs instead of refilling them with cheaper, younger labor as has been done in the past. |

User ID: 8080014 United States 01/16/2019 10:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | One thing that nobody has mentioned yet is that -in the past- ALL RIF'S HAVE BEEN STRICTLY VOLUNTARY! So if they do attempt to force one it is entirely uncharted territory. I remember one at the USPS about 15 years ago [I'm retired post office myself] where in the initial offering they didn't get enough people to meet their quota, so about three months after the deadline they announced a new one that added a $5,000 cash incentive to any new takers [BTW: the highest cash bonus I ever saw dangled was $15,000 and I knew three people who took that offer and ran like thieves in the night]. They got those names pretty fast and pissed off everybody who signed up for the first go-around who walked out empty-handed. I had one coworker who was seriously torqued by it... even though by her greed and laziness [always applied for/got overtime due to her seniority] she was one of those who really needed to go anyway. Something else you have to bear in mind is that the federal Unions ALWAYS play a huge part in planning any RIF! NOTHING employee-related ever happens without their loud input and heavy-handed threats; and, since those unions are all headed by Democrats... well, you can just imagine what's going on right now as all this is being proposed in D.C.!
