Covington Catholic High School is closed Tuesday over security concerns, according to school officials.

“After meeting with local authorities, we have made the decision to cancel school and be closed on Tuesday, January 22, in order to ensure the safety of our students, faculty and staff,” reads a letter to them from the school’s principal, Robert Rowe.

I read the kids statement and the aggressors were the naggers and then the Injuns...they treated kids like adults and kids act like kids.

That school has shown its adults and stewards to be "utterly ridiculous" and sinister too. I am providing this factual account of what happened on Friday afternoon at the Lincoln Memorial to correct misinformation and outright lies being spread about my family and me

I assume the private school is private property? I hope the local police are there just in case a protester steps off the sidewalk on to the lawn.

I see that it is a town of 3,000 population (small!), but is a suburb of Cincinnati. I'm trying to imagine what that looks like, and I can't guess how the local residents and police feel about all this.

In my small(ish) town, I'd like to think our police and city leaders (and regular residents) would be camped out at our local Catholic school in case of such an incident.
