I've touched on this over the years here, and yes, the 'sense of syncs' are certainly increasing in amplitude and frequency in general for sure, but likely moreso for me personally because of my original stated intention and interaction in this thread. And yes, they can range from terrifying to amazing, especially at the initial levels of realization. But again, as I've stated before, eventually a somewhat 'rational' conversation becomes possible, given a respectful, honest and determined effort.
