When are they going to start charging fatasses higher health insurance premiums

Been saying this for a long time. Fat is totally unacceptable. Healthy eating habits combined with a less sedentary lifestyle is a very simple solution. Fat people put more stress on the current healthcare system that cigarettes and booze combined - so they need to start paying their fair share - I say tax them all.

They'll probably make the skinny ones pay more soon to cover the costs of the fatties

Yeah, we really don't want this. I agree fatties are costing a lot of money but I don't want to have the government or insurance companies analyzing everything we do and penalizing us for it. How many bad health recommendations has there been, like eat margarine instead of butter, get your flu shot, don't eat eggs, gmos are good for you, take your statin, etc, etc.,etc.

They should have higher premiums for the same reason smokers do.

Premiums for "fatasses" are already higher unless they are covered by some larger company group policy.

And, that is if they can get covered.Virtually no private insurance company will issue a new health insurance policy if one of the participants is over a designated weight as determined by each insurance company.

With regards to Obamacare coverage, its a free-for-all.

They are already charged more for health insurance. It is a pre existing condition. Same for smokers. Thread: Never going to "fix" healthcare if you dont make pre existing and chronic cases their own special class.
