Yeah I didn't really expect the tards to understand interferometry. It's ok, the world will move on without them.

Honestly GLP - the comments section here reads like something from the 1700's. You do understand that science is what led to the creation of computers, and the internet that you are accessing right now, right? So if all science is a hoax, well... How is this forum even possible then? The willful ignorance here is unbelievable sometimes.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77191444

yep - but I can think of $40m dollars spent closer to home science that would give us nearly immediate benefits and save money on things that - while they are nice to think about - aren't tied to the human races IMMEDIATE future.

It has nothing to with intelligence and everything to do with faith. It's like religion. You have faith that NASA is telling you the truth so you believe it. Most here don't believe a damn thing the gov't says so we yell BS.

I think understanding the cosmos is highly important. Most of the technology we have today is due to the studies of the cosmos and military.

Do any of you dingbats understand that what they do is take wave and other data based on measurement instruments of various types and turn that info into an image-map? Its called technology folks and yes it actually works and is accurate.

Somehow the millions of people over the years who have nothing to do with nasa or any government entities who state and show the same data are linked to this so-called fake space manipulation theory.

Looks pretty much like I would expect a black hole to look. It sounds like they have some interesting time series data though showing the rate of rotation of the accretion disk. I'm going to be very interested to see the papers published about it.

Miles Mathis is an idiot who doesn't even accept that the Falcon rocket landings are real and you can see that in person right now today. He is utterly incapable of distinguishing reality from fiction. I tried to show him my proof that he's wrong and of course he won't even listen.

Can they eventually use fiber optic bundles coupled directly to optical telescopes to do interferometry? Spread across the earth?

Not quite sure if I believe this or not, however, I feel this is an important cue/trigger to some unveilings of the simulation.

Why do you waste your time? The truth doesn't matter to these folks, just the sense of superiority of not being a sucker like the rest of the "sheep".

It is all psychological, not rational.

BTW, I am getting tired of their endless hyping of the picture over the last 2 months. Just show us the damned thing already!

Sounds expensive and I believe there are other technical hurdles with that idea as well. It would be awesome though.

So Astro...........do black holes ever get full, or could they take everything thrown at them? Also, does the matter remain in this universe or does it move to a different dimension?

Yeah, I can't think any other way of preserving phase information at light frequencies though. Radio is easy because the wavelength is so long, you can sample at a rate much higher than the frequency.
