Prayers for you.

My mother died at a rather early age. I'd have dreams of her for years afterward. A REM state where I'd be wondering where she was, what happened to her, thinking she may have gotten lost or something.

Those nights were the most lousy moments to experience. They were even worse than when I was fully conscious and still aware of reality.

I've seen younger people suffer with major fatal illnesses or go through torture forced upon them by an ailing body and old age.

All this has made me realize the arrogance, smugness and know-it-all nature of some people towards the spiritual and supernatural is today's version of the Tower of Babel.

Sorry to hear, my dad died in 1979 when I was 13, it's never easy.

Wow.....dude....so sorry........we all die I guess.

There comes a time for all of us, when death - the old enemy we’ve fought off and avoided for all of our existence - amazingly turns in to a warm and welcoming friend. For it is the process we call “death” that is the escape from broken, pain wracked, aged bodies, or injuries from which we can not have any hope of recovering. It’s not only the escape, but in our final seconds as we pass from this world to the next, it is this thing we call ‘death’ that takes all pain away, calms all anxious spirits, and even if we’re well past 100 years of age, it rocks us gently to that final peaceful tranquil place as we shed this mortal body and move onward to whatever the Creator has made for us.

I am sorry for your loss. The death of a parent is not easy to face, whether you’re 6, or 26, 86 years of age when it happens. Knowing that your loved one is not in pain, not suffering the burdens of this world any longer, and is at peace at last - those things help if you think about them and the reality they represent.

There is much more to the human soul and how our Creator cares for us than we can even suspect or understand. Science learns more every day and yet some things will, it seems, forever remain beyond our comprehension. That loving being that created this world and put us in it - that kind of love is so vast and so amazing that all we can do is stand back and marvel at the handiwork of that Creator. Most religions teach that there is a life that goes on far beyond our time on this earth. I cannot help but believe that is true. I hope you share that belief.

Watch your dreams. They come to you there...especially if you were close. It’s definitely a void. Your heart heals in a couple years but you’re not the same. I lost my Dad unexpectedly 2 years ago. He was larger then life and I saw him three different times in my dreams the first year and a half. It meant a lot and helped me heal as well as talking about his passing. Sorry for your epic loss.

So sorry for your loss dear. Mine passed 2011, I also hope he is fishing and I miss doing that with him the most.

They say a red cardinal represent a male spirit telling you all is well. One of the songs my Dad wanted at his funeral was 3 little birds and I always see 3 cardinals in the yard at once. It makes me feel better.

My gran would make a lovely singer on an 1800s stage. Sorry about the Hermatige fields. Grapes are so much alive as they ripen. They swell on the vine with the force of a spring. Their sap is a wonderful drink, why cannot the the same people who brought us coconut water give us grape sap drink? Can I bump that idea....
