1. Ask employer for an advance
2. Pawn something of value for a short period
3. Payday Loan

All of these are options that anyone would do if they were desperate for some quick cash. Yet, the OP hasn't responded to any of these suggestions as though they aren't legitimate.

I for one don't believe the OP's story and if you give anything to them, don't expect to receive it back.

Then why do you need money? if your family member stole money from you. All you have to do is report it to the bank as a dispute. They will put the money back into the account. They will report it to the police and if after the investigation is true that someone stole your money. The bank submits a claim to their insurance. FDIC they get reimbursed and the person will be persecuted.

The company will pay the bank.

This is common procedure when a bank gets robbed. So, the story you presented in itself is a lie because banks in the U.S.A don't just not give you your money back. You must file a dispute and file a police report. If you file one falsely it's a crime.
