Question for people who have had heart attacks and heart disease | |

This is apparently common in diabetics. He felt generally ill and like he needed to have a bowel movement. Again, he had no pain or the pressure people sometimes report. He was still having the heart attack when taken to the hospital and had an emergency bypass done. The doctors asked why he came in when he did, and he said it was Divine Intervention. He felt "told to go" even though he never went to doctors. |

User ID: 38245227 United States 05/29/2019 11:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My mom died of a major heart attack at home. Here symptoms were weakness with rings under her eyes. Then she got nauseous and went into the bathroom. She died there... Typically, you would get chest pains that radiate down one or both arms. You could feel the pain in your teeth too as it radiates down your neck and into your arms... Shortness of breath and numbness down the arm(s)... I've had a "TIA" mild stroke. Not fun, room spinning around. Couldn't get out of bed from dizziness. Lasted about half an hour. Doctor told me they last usually about 15 minutes... Lately tho I have been waking up with my arms and legs being tingly and almost numb. Sometimes I feel just super super physically tired for hours at a time, like you would when you get the flu. I have had a couple episodes a long time ago where I had such bad chest pain that I had to pull over on the road and vomit. Although that was a long long time ago and I haven't had one of those episodes in a couple years. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77201407 United States 05/30/2019 12:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I had tachycardia attack that lasted about ten seconds before my heart stopped and then my internal defibrillator/pacemaker went off and got me going again. During that time I felt a loss of breath as my vision narrowed to tunnel-vision. No real pain but just knowing I was about to pass out I shouted my wife's name with my last bit of consciousness (she was in the same room) then the defib hit like a mule kick and I came back OK. Without the defib I don't think I would have come back but the death would have been quick and relatively painless if you could just let go of wanting to be here more than there. |

My heart wasn't working right and I developed pericarditis because I waited too long. I also lost 20% of my heart tissue because I waited too long. I know others that had no symptoms who had there blockage on the right artery who waited too long. All of these people had an exertion induced rupture in an artery that cause a heart attack with no pain like symptoms. Other factors I considered for the heart problems are genetics, misusing over the counter pain meds like Alieve and high cholesterol. Maybe age too. I was 57. 700llib |

User ID: 77642883 France 05/30/2019 03:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Heart attack more likely if you eat ‘ultra processed food’ READY meals and other processed foods increase the risk of a heart attack and other life-threatening medical conditions, warn two major studies. The findings, published in The BMJ, show that ultra-processed foods – often containing high levels of added sugar, fat and salt – are linked to an increased risk of heart disease and dying young. Researchers called for policies to limit intake of foods such as fizzy drinks, sugary cereals, packaged baked goods and snacks, dehydrated vegetable soups and reconstituted meat and fish products. They are thought to account for around 25 to 60 per cent of daily energy intake in many countries and often lack in vitamins and fibre. Previous studies have linked highly processed foods to higher risks of obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and some cancers, but scientists have still to fully explain why. -50% [link to www.express.co.uk (secure)] I came.
