Well at least this didn't go into the ground water or ocean!

Question is where is the Corium from Reactors 3 and 4????

Please don't be gullible. TEPCO has admitted to covering things up concerning Fukushima multiple times. They can't be trusted at all.

I don't trust them one goddamn bit! Who in their right minds builds nuclear reactors on volcanic islands with a volcano 100 miles away underwater???????

Should have been turned over to the IAEA!

The corium from reactor 3 is scattered all over Japan after the "owl" went off, and reactor 4 had no core when it exploded.

ALL DOCUMENTED.

Reactor 4 was totally dis-assembled and was receiving a new internal shroud when it "exploded". Reactor 4 is building 7, Fukushima is not what we were told.

Except that is NOT the core, at least not the actual molten part....all you are looking at here is the debris left when the core melted through the containment vessel.

all the Uranium, melted steel, glass and shoes and plastic
were melted into a big pool of molten stuff.
and then over the years the the "Corium" settled to
the bottom in a very pure strata, and that's what we
are looking it that Corium.

Reactor 4 was shut down and the fuel rods were in the fuel holding pool, so no corium. That's thankfully been emptied and the rods are relatively safe in the common pool. Reactor 3 had MOX and they're in the middle of a five year plan to empty the fuel pool. That needs to be done first as we don't need criticality there. Reactor 1 also melted down and I know its current status.

What's left of the coria needs to be separated, loaded with boron to stabilize it and vitrified in some way. Beyond that, I've no idea what will happen to it. It could be burned in a homogeneous thorium molten salt reactor, but we don't have any of those.

Most of it is probably a mile underground, or in the damn ocean.

I would assume it did. They've done nothing but lie to us from Day 1 and no real effort has been made to control this by Japan or international efforts. It's like they....WANT THE RADIATION. Which might be true too.

14 MILLION tons (SO FAR), not of nuclear core....just topsoil they have to "dispose of"....to where? Oh yeah...underground!

Can't wait to build my vacation home on one of these areas....oh yeah, it's being encased in plastic....yep, PLASTIC!

well, maybe they should let some independent investigators in
to tell us exactly what the status of all the Corium is.
