Quoting: H.E. Pennypacker they can't get near it.. i'm surprised after all this time they got a robot that close.... they already lost all the others.. i guess that's a step.... :citz_tyolympics: Can't rule out the entire video being staged.. That "corium" stuff does looks unique though I'm no nuclear scientist, but I read, that looks like the "Slag" from a pool of corium, The actual corium is probably a few meters below. And why are they using chop sticks when what they need is a spoon / digger style robot. Geez give me a small robot 360 with a sorting grab and I'll have that shit cleared up in an hour. Common jap fags do better, you make some good shit, this should be sorted by now. |

Quoting: Putin's Voluntaryist With HBO's hit mini-series about Chernobyl airing right now, normies interest in this subject has never been higher. It's a good time to share Fukushima info on social media (if you use it) to redpill people in relation to the Chernobyl disaster. that mini series was real good . |

Tell me, how close were we really to global catastrophe? Does the situation @ Fukushima compare in its potential deadliness? Thank you for answering my question. uhhuh |

If that is in fact the actual corium then that robot must be hardened as fuck , I remember they had a few in 2011 that couldn't even get close before spazzing out. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75516488 Yes, quite true! Amazing the robot kept functioning. I can't imagine the number of Sieverts or Roentgens being generated. The remaining coria(reactors 1 and 2) were critical and fissioning for a year and a half after the meltdowns. After they stopped reacting, the residual radiation was still massively high. Now, after 8 years or so from the meltdown, the radiation is not as bad, though it's plenty lethal. Robots were purpose built and superhardened, but I doubt that they could handle a critical corium for more than a moment. Now we have to load what's left with boron and vitrify it so it won't migrate. |

It blew its guts(with MOX fuel) and the entire spent fuel pool to the four winds. It created a black rain of what was the critical core a moment before. |
