It's not just him but you'll notice many other rich and powerful people have similarly predicted how the world will end miserably in the future. What they don't like is the fact that they're destined to lose everything including their immense wealth and power that they now enjoy so much -- at the time of their death. They all have enjoyed living their privileged lives and still brave enough selfishly state such things to the rest of the world? The rest of the world who lived their lives full of pain and sufferings, that is. And they predict how the world will surely be so miserable when they're not around anymore, because that's what they sincerely hope and wish the world to be in their absence. As if saying "I'll be dead by that time for sure, but I won't have to go through what you and your descendants will go through, losers! I'm so blessed and privileged and that's why I lived in the world that was so stable and blissful, unlike the way rest of you sore losers lived!" They know so well that they're all destined for places they would not enjoy so much in the afterlife, because deep inside they know the way they lived was completely wrong -- because they were never given such privileges by Gods to live so selfishly that way they did. |
