Quoting: Irredeemable Sure, they are fun and loud, but I can do the same thing with my 30-06 and a few pounds of tannerite. I don't know offhand, but I'm betting it's cheaper too. PA just finally legalized a whole bunch of fireworks, but I have yet to buy any. NJ just legalized it too.....they're even selling it in supermarkets with a "no smoking" sign around the display......when was the last time you could smoke in a supermarket?....lol..... Too bad NJ (NY, and CT as well) doesn't allow anything good. Just fountains, snakes and sparklers. Same thing here in Cali. Probably due to fire danger. |

That is the Pigeo Fotge/gatlinburg exit I say a man spend over $1000 and he had less than one shopping cart full. If I were still sellinf ans was the one selling them to him it would have been $300 at most. Had he driven 10 miles to a mom pop shop off the main road it would have been $500 or less. Do not dall for buy one get one free gimmicks. They are tricking you into buying 2 of something they want to move. Do not buy prepacked assortments. Assortments are filled with stuff that does not sell well on the shelf or is a underperformer. You not only oay for the labor to pack them in the fancy package you also pay for the fancy package. Compare prices on the items in the assortments with items on the shelf. Also if the shop has a no dud guarentee most the time assortment items are exempt from that guarentee. |

Everyone knows the real action is with Roman candles. Once when I was a kid, I was holding a roman candle...ya know to shoot the colors in particular directions/arch's (thanks to my borther in law for setting a great example). Anyway, last time I tried this probably back in 88 or 89, the whole thing blew at once. In my hand. Didn't take my hand off, but closest to having a stick of tnt blow up in my hand I ever want to experience. Be safe. And it's true, snakes and sparklers are for fags. Whistlin' bungholes, spleen splitters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker don'ts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, whistlin' kitty chasers are a mans fireworks. |

Aside from what op posted, if you do acquire 1.3 wares, please be extra cautious, you could put a lot of people in a lot of trouble by being dumb. Also, overloads and fake ex-numbers are out there if you know what you're looking for. If you don't, & aren't in a position to know what to look for, you shouldn't be messing around with them. |

My wife is an ER nurse and says most of the firework related injuries treated in her ER are from sparklers. Those bloody things burn wicked hot. So far the worst she has seen treated was due to some drunk lighting M80's with his cigarette, throwing them, and putting the cigarette back in his mouth. Apparently he was tanked on beer and somewhere down the line got confused and ended up throwing his cigarette and putting the M80 in his mouth where it promptly exploded. Be safe people. Don't be bloody stupid. |

I also advise people on buying from wholesale type warehouses such as Patriotics sometime in March or April, when you can get discounts. I pay the same price that wholesalers pay. A tray of 6oz rockets costs me under a dollar, because I buy by the case. A few hours of research on which items are good on message boards, and you can put on a much better show for the money. A lot of people look at the package, say that looks cool, and buy it. The best 200g cakes outperform mediocre 500g cakes. By the case, these 200g cakes come out to $6.50 - $12 a piece. Wholesale? $25-40. But the really good 500g cakes? Those are very impressive. |

I have bever saw the Costco stuff but I would be willing to bet that it is TNT brand which is what sams clubs has, It is pretty much junk and way overpriced even for fireworks. TNT fireworks is owned by the same corporation as big Lots. |

Don't be bloody stupid. I have scars from those things from 40+ years ago. Good thing is now they have sparklers that have Bamboo sticks I will not sell the ones with metal sticks because of the danger from the hot wire and teenagers want them to make sparkler b0mbs with. They say the bamboo ones do not work as good. |

The 200gram cakes are lots of times better than the 500gram I like the 9 to 12 shot 500 gram with the 2inch tubes They seem to be the best. The 3 inch 9 shot ones are mostly a waste of money because they have a small shell inside a sleeve. There are a couple good ones I bought this year. Wacky Tobacky and Kings Rings |

Nothing to show for the 100's I spent. Sure the kids were---happy. The neighbors kids were---happy. Even the stand I bought them from was---happy. But, what about me?????? All I was was broke afterwards. Now, I don't care about it. I live by a park. Every year I got a great seat, no crowds, and no money spent. Now...I'm happy!!! Living has taught me one thing; nothing is certain...except salvation through Jesus Christ! |
