Hey, here is another idea, find out who the slave owners were and let their decendends pay the reparations instead of all white people. Except, that after the civil war and the loss of slaves, many of these families lost everything they had. What happened to 40 acres and a mule? Those who got their 40 acres were paid their reparations. Can we scratch them off the list?

Oh wait,if the government pays out the 17 trillion, every American citizens is paying the reparations, not just the whites. Wouldn't that 17 tril be better used to pay off the national debt? Oh, this country doesn't have 17 trillion to pay into the debt, so how do we come up with this 17 trillion?

From that 17 trillion can we subtract the welfare, medicaid, food stamps, tuition assistance, and housing that have be given to those who were slave decendents or suffered from the Jim Crowe laws?

How about this, forgive the past and come together with equality for all and rebuild the greatest nation in the world instead of re-hashing old wounds? Their is no amount of money that can compensate for what some of the slaves suffered. They have been dead and buried a long time and their stories are lost. So how do we know who these reparations should go to?

Your only problem is they are not Africans, they are the aboriginal people of the Americas. Transatlantic slave trade was another myth. Slavery was different everywhere, but in the states blacks owned everything. The US was much more developed than you think. Europeans didn't build anything here (hence Obama). They merely took title and deed and then rewrote the story. The original people were blacks and they're still here. Its not about reparations therefore, because they technically already own everything. Its just about kicking out a bad tenant.

Blacks were first slaves of their own people and sold to Countries like England.

Reparations coming from Africa who first owned and then sold?

Most slaves were in the South, which during the civil war was the Confederate Union. Which no longer exists, so you can't get reparations from a government that no longer exists.

White Europeans / Irish/ Asians etc, came over as slaves first and foremost.

When the American Revolution took place and the US won and had a Constitution, the groundwork was laid to begin the process of freedom and equality for all, regardless of how long it would take to accomplish, these were thed intentions.

So you can't get reparations from the US who was not responsible for slavery and begun to end it.

And we should send the bill to the Dutch, English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese for the importation! Arabs should also have to pay up as well as African blacks who sold their brothers!

There are many upper middle class who don't care about blacks, as long as they don't have to deal with them. They couldn't care less, that lower class white kids get robbed and beaten by blacks all the time. But reparations will redpill these people, so I say bring it one.
