my first thought to a favorite of cacti blooms, was sorta me too - i like psychoactive ones!
but it didn't really pin it; realizing the most fleeting ones i keep as favorite did pin it

...and speaking of sky - you see what (or when) you were looking for? Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Moon, and Venus all visible in a perfect arch around 4-5 am in whatever time the last few days :)

sort of like my night and day of favorites, speaking of sky, wherein the obsession began...

I had a lovely road trip during the heat wave with no air. I used a spray bottle for me and the kitty's to cool down with. I jut got the dread locks out of my hair last night. I traveled 700 miles in 4 days to help a friend. I left as an enemy, fair warning. That stupid shit tried to give me gas money? I took nothing and only gave. I will not ease his conscious by taking gas money for a trip of such stature. He is a user, a free loader, a liar, and a worthless pos.

I let a young couple and their toddler come over and take what they needed and liked. I was not going to be here to keep it alive as it is a heat wave and I went on a road trip. I still have plenty of yard left. He is a young man who is no longer employed due to c19 genocide attempts. He was so happy to have his own tools first time in is life he said. He got a whole shed full. I kept a hammer a screw driver wire cutters and tape measure. I love uncluttering. I gave then all my towels and sheets.. :) Gave them pans and all my house plants geraniums and flowers outside. I have left my rosebushes(trying to revive them), peppermint, red clover, and one cucumber plant .. and my sunflowers and holly hocks. I have seeds I can plant. I may go put out some trumpet vine and some morning glories?

funny... both blooms i took pics of to post share in common unmistakable seed pods that develop from each flower

i've never had any luck finding seeds in the wild morning glories that always creep around here

put the last bit of a package of ivyleaf seeds in an area where they can take over as they please, but so far they just green

i remember in my childhood when heat waves in the midwest used to be defined by temps rising above 100

seems they've lowered the bar to 90 lately...

yeah the bar is lower for sure but it is in the 100's here. A break after the 25th to temps at 93.. not much of a break, but I will take it. I love the Blue morning glories. have had trouble with them the last few years as well, where they usually grow like wild fire. I will try again.
