Why not just permanently get rid of AC posting?

Apparently it becomes a boring echo chamber.

AC posting is the soul of GLP. Without that GLP is just another regular forum, which are a penny a dozen on the net.

And you can read the whole days posts in a few minutes when there are no ac's.

I would suggest and after observing GLP for some time, it is partially because anyone who isn't an AC hasn't really got much to offer/bring to the table.

Just my opinion. Besides, GLP's masters need to track ISPs.

No, it's just that bluenames steal thread ideas from ac's.

The original AC thread is often buried, while the bluename ripoff thread is pinned and 5-star rated by 35 other bluenames.

If you're upset that paying members get pinned, perhaps you should join.

A lot of OC post have information you are never going to see
Anywhere
And might hear about in 5 or more years
Examples:
Fukushima ( here we knew 3 reactors and the high levels and world wide affects it was going to produce )
Katrina : watch the biggest storm for a week before land fall and knew the devastation it was going to happen and got posts from AC what was happening then )
‘Sun’s effect on weather and crops, civilizations, earthquakes ,volcanoes ..
10 years ago posts on sunspots and food shortages
Now seeing same information AC posts from 10 years ago.
Yes a lot of ac posts are garbage but one or two a day will give you interesting information that might change your thinking and life.
