Without including this woman's answer to that question it is intellectually dishonest to assume that all muslims feel that consummating a marriage at age 9 is ok. I have zero trouble believing that she did indeed write the account. Islam is a twisted thing in many ways. I would just like to see more people presenting objective information and allowing people to make up their own mind. Islam does not require a spin to be seen for what it truly is.

I studied Islam years ago and for the most part thought it was a peaceful practice. Yet once I came across the Hadiths and heard of the marriage and sex with Aisha I couldn’t believe it. Once I dug deeper only to find Imams verify this truth I cannot follow it anymore. Some claim Muhammad married her because she was important to Islam and was smart... you can teach a child without having to engage in sex. It only goes to show the perversion of the man who was possessed by some entity.

I hear you. Something else a lot of people do not realize is that muslims are commanded to demand of unbelievers that they either convert to islam, subjugate themselves (become a slave to muslims) or be killed. There are many passages that demand that muslims visit violence on any who do not subscribe to their belief system. I had a tough time with these things as I have known many true muslims. A number of them were interpreters who risked their lives, the lives of their families to work with us in Iraq and some were killed.
