I usually peek outside to see what type of critter is prowling around. I saw a big ole raccoon eating the drops from the bird feeder. He then walked over to the bird bath, stands on his hind legs and used his front paws to sweep water into his mouth. I was pretty surprised to see that, I guess I never gave animals enough credit. |

Quoting: chasity I remind my kids to change the water in the bird bath twice a day outside and they all flock to drink and bath! fresh water is so important in this hot weather. i keep a bowl of filtered water from the frig for a cat that somebody left behind when they moved and he has caught and killed well over fifty rats since he has been here. he looks just like this guy.
