As other have said- it defines our three, co-equal branches of government and their powers and duties. The bill of rights outlines our basic rights.

But I think the preamble states the purpose of the document (and beautifully):

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Based on a people who have a strong belief in the freedom

that is God given, it's a document that outlines the

"limitations" of the government being instituted at the

time it was conceived, to protect those freedoms from being

eroded by any other form of government.

That's why they called it a Republic instead of a Democracy.

In this form, the Constitution is only applicable to a

righteous type of Christian based theology where they

hold everyone in government accountable to the people.

And the people are held accountable to God only.

I was thinking of a saying a "quote" that was from

Benjamin Franklin...but the statement escapes me.

Aside from any political meaning it obviously has, the word 'constitution' can denote a person's physical bearing, a person's degree of good health, while also being used as a way to describe a person's temperament.

One synonym for this word is 'configuration'.

The fundamental principles and republican governmental structure agreed upon by The People and the several States, ratified by vote in 1789 and amended 27 times since.

Nope.. written by people who were from the very high realms and know truth.

The Constitution contains a mission statement. Ideologies of a group of men who seized an opportunity to inspire movement, there after known as the United states of America.

Actually, looking at it closer, it looks like a contract that was written by a group of people with the intent of exploiting a country, which they had to form first to exploit.

....

"To borrow Money on the credit of the United States;

..uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;

The US constitution is EVERYTHING to us!

The constitution holds the words we live by. It is the foundation and principles of our laws and even the basis or "spirit" of the law.

Example: Innocent until PROVEN guilty is the fundamental foundation on which our criminal law is based. You are shrouded in a cloak of righteousness until you have been PROVEN guilty of a crime. One does not need to prove they are innocent...you are presumed innocent!

Our constitution does NOT give us any rights. It acknowledges that our rights came from out Creator and what came from our Creator cannot be taken away by government.

It is the words we live by!

The US Constitution is the American version of the Magna Carta (basic law) that was drafted around 1200 to make sure the King wasn't above the law.

When the Settlers in the New World gained independence from England they drafted the US Constitution (basic law) that supplied a set of guidelines to live by.

The founding father were intrinsically racist. Their white privilege setup the Constitution so people of colour couldn't be kangs n shit.

Commodity Fetishism

In my mind the Consitution is all of the declarations and the Bill of rights. I group it all into that. Don’t know or care I’m wrong.

The decalaration of freedom from England,
The declaration of a republic
Declaration of god-given rights
Right to free speech
Right for women to vote
Right for blacks to vote
Rule against slavery
Right to bear arms

And whatever the rest says

No, the bill of rights refers to the first ten amendments to the US Constitution. Its called a bill of rights because congress instituted it into the constitution before the individual states would ratify it.

The fundamental underlying principle of the US Constitution is the creation of a government not just of the people, but subservient to their will.

This government is bought and paid for and does not represent the people
