Just because Mark Sargent did an ad...that’s proof of what, exactly?

I think Astro is saying that it is basically a low form of zealot or celebrity. Just doing it for the power but doesn't believe in it but as long as he has followers then he preaches. Kinda like Scientology. FE is very cultish. It's like debating blood transfusions with a Jehovah Witness. Same rational equivalence. Jehova Witnesses don't like blood transfusions? That's new news to me.
