I know there was a problem there years ago... the place, last I heard, was a shell of the former mega-church it used to be, but haven't all the problem folks drifted away, been arrested, shamed into retirement etc? |

Type his zip code in to google along with “Baptist church” and it will give you a list of churches. I recommend one that plays more modern worship music. If you find one that is KJV only and ‘traditional hymns only” then you will risk having Hammond pop up first. There are some very good Baptist churches out there that incorporate more modern songs into their worship services and allow women to wear pants. Hammond is DEFINITELY A CULT. Lots of sick and evil stuff went on there for decades. The SHAME of what happened there is enough to make a Baptist never step foot in there. Your friend is brainwashed. He needs help. He hurts the Testimony of Christ by staying in a church with so much sin. As Carrie Underwood would sing, “There’s not enough rain in Oklahoma to wash the sin out of that church...” |
