Repeat those experiments on different days , you will get different results. Mpre/less humidity will cause different degrees of refraction.

All he says is refraction, he BELEIVES refraction can lift a mountain, or any image over a horizon. In this specific vid, you can see the mountain range, which should only show parts of the peaks over the city, instead you see a much wider range.



He believe a mirage LIFTS an image into view, from behind the curve, and thats why we see the mountains in this video, according to the refraction genius.

Any camera with a good zoom lens will show you that nothing goes "over the curve" -- because there is no curve. Applies to ships and "sunsets" -- the sun never sets; it recedes away from view.

Countless landmarks that should be obscured by curvature are not.

Refraction is from a change in density.

If from observed and the observer are in the same density there is no refraction. You can not calculate refraction without knowing the density between observed and observer.

The Sun and the Moon move across the sky above us, the firmament is fixed.

Ugh. What is the deal with the background music on most videos supporting flat earth? I couldn't take the whole video, but as far as I got he didn't mention refraction. I read somewhere that surveyors and others allow around 7% correction for refraction. Evidently with conditions it can vary substantially. I think he was saying there is about 14% showing that should not be.

Anyway, this is a gif image showing quite obviously the curvature of the ocean over distance, with large wind turbines in the distance over halfway hidden.
