What kind of selector? Is it a Gibson or a Fender?

Nevermind I read through..

What i normally do is get in there pull out the selector check the solder is still intact.. if it is intact but just too crackily or just not selecting what I do is get a think piece of fine grain sand paper like 200 grit or something and just cut a small piece and fish it in between the contact. Sometimes some dust or something just got on there and you just need to expose some raw copper. That usually worked on any Epiphones or cheap guitars I had. Never had to do it with any American made gear though to be honest.
