Eight times I watched it, and when the child's bloody sneakers tumbled down the highway I had to shut it off.

I believe it was parental instincts that kept me from watching further for two decades.

As a kid (I'm 50 now), Phantasm, Exorcist, Jaws, Poltergeist, The Entity, The Thing (Kurt Russell), Any body-snatcher type movie... ah, those were the days! Love horror done well!

Hostage to the Devil by Malichi Martin which is non-fiction. Read as an adult. Scared me so much that when I finished reading it, I put on the top shelf of a closet behind some clothing. Freaked me out so much every time I opened the closet, I finally had to get rid of it. Never had that kind of reaction to any other book or movie.

The Bible is quite scary! Encourages people to worship a deadbeat dad and people die over it.

The "horror movies" that really strikes home in our reality,. are crime dramas.

In 1977 they made a classic reality Horror Movie…

" Looking for Mr. Goodbar" ..featuring Diane Keaton and Richard Gere.

This movie hits the spot,.. when it comes down to melodrama and horror.
