He lectured all of us to be better people. I think he was talking mostly to the greedy corporations. It was July of 1979. No other president made such a passionate speech to Americans to be better people, have good character and moral standards and help one another. Both were not his fault. Jimmy Carter is one of the kindest most humane presidents this country has ever had. And that's good enough for me. With that said I am mortally afraid of what might happen to this country is Biden, Warren or Sanders steals the election. It was his fault. We should've invaded Iran immediately instead of handing it over to radical Ayatollahs. He was the Neville Chamberlain of his time. He waited over a year to take any action and by then it was too late. Operation Eagle Claw failed miserably. Carter was the icing on the cake for failed Democratic led US policies that resulted in the following failures: Korean War - Truman fired Gen. MacArthur for wanting to win the war and take out the Chicoms. Vietnam War - LBJ, well it was LBJ. The purpose of the military is to kill people and break things.
