Trump pulling out of Syria. Handing ISIS over to Erdogan

Kurds literally had YEARS to fight and win, but their inept combat abilities have cost way too much money for the West, so we're giving up. Let them fight their own battles.

Kurds are the only force fighting Isis! I feel sorry for the Kurds. They number in the millions and should have their own nation! Erdogan doesn't want that, because he wants to stay in power and he's muslim. Many Kurds are atheists.

NO, they aren't. I have no respect for Erdogan at all! He'd just as soon kill all the Kurds and allow ISIS to take over, because they are Muslim. The Kurds should have their own nation, but Erdogan will never allow that. The Kurds are the only ones fighting against ISIS.

This sends a clear message that law makers do not have the Kurds back, even though they have shed blood for the US.

I went w/@AmbJohnBolton to Jerusalem and Ankara in January Michael. I don’t know what we can do other than a staged withdrawal or a permanent garrison. The challenge of the century is on the seas, in space and in Asia. It is not on the Turkish-Syrian border.
