Seen a video few days ago showing the protestors with sharpened rebar the length of spears, smashing the riot police and their plastic shields. Needless to say the riot shields were shattered. Escalation was inevitable.

Apparently we have a different opinion than you of what running over is.

I watched the video and did not see anyone get run over. What I saw was a military vehicle stop when a bunch of protesters blocked the road then he pushed himself through. <--- That is not running over. Running over would be him going fifty miles per hour then not slowing down and hitting the protesters while still going fifty miles an hour.

Ecuadorian soldiers have been know to wipe out entire villages in the Amazon that oppose the foreign oil companies that destroy and pollute their environment.

There are some hills worth dying on. Read of those in Lexington and Concord, MA., April 1775.

Equador soldiers or more likely blackwater dressed as soldiers.

Tbh this is how we should deal with protestors here, sick of fucking protestors.

While not cheering their actions has anyone here actually given thought to how to engage protestors?

This is no different than people laying on train tracks to block a train then whining when they are run over losing limbs.

It is no different than protestors standing on an Interstate Highway--you do not stop, you keep driving or you risk being attacked by them.

It doesn't take genius or high education to understand that.
