Do You Feel More at Home With The Surroundings in Your Dreams at Night?
I feel like I'm living this life just to get to something that's more like my dreams at night. I have better times then.

Nope.
I don't know what lies they told you, but I can promise they were lies.

The people I encounter and talk to each day just seem to be trying to exist to the next day. They don't seem stimulating at all. I don't know any really funny people. No wise people. I carry the weight of any of the conversations that I have and I promise, I'm not being an arrogant jackass.

I don't feel anything coming back to me anymore. I test for echo and get my own voice.

I don't have dreams.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8633534

I always have boring predictable dreams that are always linear and somehow manage to be more dull than real life.

But.

The other night I was dreaming I was at a protest. There were police in riot gear. The streets were mostly empty. It was an ordinary late-night city scene. Then the massive giants taller than buildings came down the street rolling boulders to mow people down. I hadn't had a dream that far from reality in decades. I was like, damn.

Well, until a giant came to stand in front of me where I was hiding and I made a deal with him to stay alive.

I guess dream me is an asshole.

Can't remember. I think some were wearing shorts. His outfit may have been more lightly colored. White-ish shirt?

He was looking at me like food so I asked how many humans he needed to capture. He gave me a number. I gave him a solution.

Spend time on the astral in my dreams, I dream lucid and in full color. Some cool things there, some terrifying things there.

Depends where I am, in my dreams...

They are mostly lucid though, they sometimes feel more real than my actual waking life...

I do know the "sensation" of flying often... I don't like the feelings of being stuck in water ones, however... I always wake up frustrated after the stuck in water dreams...

If I realize that I'm dreaming, I make myself fly so that I'll know for the rest of the dream that I'm dreaming.

I remember fearing in my dreams that I was actually outside my apartment, but if I was flying, I knew it was a dream.

Re: Do You Feel More at Home With The Surroundings in Your Dreams at Night?
Last night in my dreams I woke up in a waystation with other dreamers who had awakened and were waiting for their next dream. I joined a line of people to be assigned my next dream location. There was a long line of us passing through windows into other dreams. I went from dream to waystation to dream over and over last night. Woke up wondering if I had actually woken up.
