Climate change is a hoax so is the vax you have been fear-porned into compliance! The storm's intense pressure change may qualify the storm as a meteorological "bomb," which often causes concentrated areas of high-speed wind and heavy rain. The rain and wind are expected to stretch from Maine down to Northern Virginia and also reach inland into Western New York and Pennsylvania. Quoting: christian [link to www.newsweek.com (secure)] If the storm gets named then the insurance industry is shifting some of the liability for resulting damages to the policy holder - named storms = shared liability vs unnamed storms - that's why all storms of any severity are now named including winter storms - it's always about the money Stay safe glper's and keep the family close Last Edited by Flame Garcia on 10/15/2019 05:58 PM "The road of life is paved with flat squirrels who couldn't make a decision" |

With the islands offshore and the swirling winds of the Deep North, the damage from these storms can be severe though usually not life-threatening. When warm winds from the south clash, the results can be dramatic. A WINTER Nor"Easter is another story altogether. THOSE storms can kill. The TRUTH is stranger than FICTION. |

The hyperbolic jargon is a marketing tool for local TV news. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74679903 And its so overdone. They hype them up, at 8" snow totals above actual totals, and everyone scrambles to the store to buy supplies. Its a tactic to keep thr economy afloat. |

Although it has wrap-around winds that appear to be opposite of what Hurricanes are like in the Western Hemisphere (thus the bomb CYCLONE). Cyclones are things of the Eastern Hemisphere.
