But seriously - can anyone estimate the size of it in relation to distance size of buildings etc - looks mahoosive - do you ever get like a mahoosive big bucket of water falling at once - like the size of a truck or something?

the camera does not move so this is quite easy to create.

BTW, that thick lightning bolt is what is known as "positive lightning." Negative lightning bolts are the ones which many smaller branches.

Positive lightning is 10 times stronger than negative lightning. it seems for various comments on the internet that there has been a lot more postive lightning lately. In the past positive lightning comprised maybe 3% of the lightning we see.

I believe the reason recent hurricanes are bigger and stronger, such as Dorian's 185-mile-per-hour swirl, is due to an increase in the positive lightning.

But what was that HUGE thing that fell from the sky?? The camera might have been miles away, yet that thing was still huge.

Also the object fell straight down, so it wasn't from a plane.

Yeah except with the object being miles away, that would be a person the size of a building. It has to be special effects.
