There have been reports of people "taken up" (NOT raptured) during a tornado into the funnel cloud, then dropped when the strength of the winds lessen. My vote is that it is a person or large animal that has suffered the very sad misfortune of being lifted into a vortex and dropped miles later. It would be interesting (but creepy) to know what is the longest distance a person or large animal was found to have been carried by a tornado...I'm sure someone knows. Here is a link that comes up when you google: "What is the greatest distance a tornado carried human being?"
