Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45634207 no this is this thick, fatty pizza....greasy hardly any cheese and all bread but very greasy Yeah I agree, whatever they pass off as "pizza" in school cafeterias is some messed up looking stuff. My high school had some delicious greasy pizza, I can still remember the taste, mmmm! |

Quoting: Johnny Be Good Must have been nice! The shit they served in schools during the 90's here in the good old U.S. of A had articles written about it that explained how inspectors compared samples of food from prisons and schools, and that the prison food was notably better and more nutritious using more real, whole, "fresh" (lmfao) ingredients. Yap it's true. My first school we had totally from scratch proper food. I can only remember I hated the sausages. My mother would never buy them because of all the rubbish that went into them. I can still remember the taste and smell of those vile sausages. The kitchen was in the basement like something out of UpstairsDownstairs. The second school had a large proper modern kitchen. They cooked from scratch and were quite adventurous for the times.I loved the carrot and orange and stuff salad. treacle tart and custard. Squashed fly biscuits. And aussie crunch biscuits were the best! God only knows what they did to food at my senior school's kitchen. It was from scratch but so much of it was barely recognisable by the time it reached the table. I can only remember that the chips were so extremely greasy that you;d be trying to clear the roof of your mouth and teeth of all the stuck on, congealed lard fat all afternoon. But it was all better than the horror slop that they serve in NHS hospitals today. British institutionalised food is and always has been disgusting. apart from the aussie crunch and the treacle tart of course. |

Y2K was real after all. it all changed, and all got fucked after that. Yes. EVERYTHING. Racism TM started in the mid 80s in the UK. LOTS of jobs were created. |
