Erik Pocock was ordering food at the McDonald’s in North Andover Tuesday when he noticed a number of festive decorations below the counter. “It looked like a typical Halloween decoration. It said ‘Happy Halloween.’ It had some spiderwebs and some spiders and, like, a haunted tree and I was like: ‘Oh, that’s cute,’” he told WCVB. “Then, you look closer and that’s not cute. That’s not right.” OMG! It is a figure hanging from a tree!!  Everything has got to be a THING today |

Granted, it's a minority, but 27% is still quite a lot to be completely ignored. Google: how many blacks were lynched in america and you get this response: "According to the Tuskegee Institute, 4,743 people were lynched between 1882 and 1968 in the United States, including 3,446 African Americans and 1,297 whites. More than 73 percent of lynchings in the post-Civil War period occurred in the Southern states." |
