Now would be a good time to add, that Soul Horse TX bailed out a horse named "Dusty Savenelli" that was a grandsire to a Triple Crown winner. (One that passed his drug test...so a LEGIT Triple Crown Winner) #Justify was a triple crown winner who failed his drug test, so imagine finding one of his grandsires in a kill pen.

Not sure where that horse is now though. It's last known boarder was the kill buyer's uncle also bailed at that time from the kill pen (Thompson ship horses direct kill pen) was a horse named "Fina Espinoza" a beautiful gray mare and 2 thoroughbreds who were later claimed "not to be thoroughbreds" and never named, identified or posted for adoption. :(

IF they knew he was not sound, why let him run? Was he the wild card in case no other horses broke down? Do you have any idea how much investor's are willing to pay to redevelop Santa Anita? Versus Horse racing which receives $7 billion in Welfare :/

Hmmm the Stronach's have spoke of turning their Baltimore racetrack into a baseball stadium...hmmm...they should do that with Santa Anita...right? A nice outdoor stadium the fellas could still hang out and eat hot dogs, not sure why anyone still does that knowing what is in them (prolly the very horses they are watching race) but...just saying...they could gamble on baseball.

According to Equibase stats Reffine was only 3 years old when it died. With only 2 starts and $702 in earnings. Owned by Bob Grayson Jr and trained by Val Brinkerhoff.

I wonder how much they got in insurance money, that is a question nobody ever mentions on all these dead horses. Maybe they are all insurance scams???
