I've met people who call his name Ya-shy-ah, but I cleared up the name game by asking whether he is referring to the man who died on the cross for our sins and when he (they) say yes then it's not about his name but about who he is (God) and what he did (atone for our sins and make his Holy Spirit freely available to anyone who wants it.).

I find no offense in referring to him by any of his many names or pronunciations of them, but I prefer Jesus because I'm a Gentile, and I don't need to learn Hebrew to know what the scriptures say because they are translated into English for my pleasure. Thanks Dad!
