Like is that considered free speech? The fact that I don't know the answer to that is why I stayed silent, but I can't seem to find any info online about it. I'm thinking about making a complaint, but maybe the guy didn't do anything wrong??? Anyone know? there are laws about electioneering within a certain distance of the polling location. But Trump is not running in this election today. Probably technically legal because he isn't running for office today but definitely would not be next year. If he was also saying anything about republicans in general then definitely wrong. I'll find out what the election board says when they email me back. I specifically asked that they follow up on this so I know what to do if this ever happens again. I still flat-out believe whether or not this was illegal, it was definitely unprofessional. |

Quoting: JypsieWind You aren’t even supposed to have signs within 150ft of polling stations where I live. That guy was effectively campaigning- he’s supposed to be neutral while working. That's what I thought but I can't find any info online about it. I know his first name. What do you think I should do? Should I report it? Yes I would report him. Good thing you didn’t say anything or he would have rigged your voting machine. |

Then, when you find out what he did was illegal, you have the evidence right there. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74658309 Huh I didn't even think of that. But here I go again with not knowing enough about like the inner workings of elections. Is it legal to whip out your cell phone and start recording while voting? You know, kind of like how video isn't allowed in courtrooms and whatnot? |

Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America : 1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized. 2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims. 3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government. 4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer. 5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about. 6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76131330 United States 11/05/2019 10:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My husband worked the republican information table at the voting location in our town. He was ridiculed multiple times by Democrat crazies. One was complaining and pointing at my husband and talking about how many deranged sick republicans she would have to be in the company of to vote in the primaries. My husband refused to engage in any of these remarks by multiple people and it only seemed to make them angrier. I'm seriously trying to decide what to do to assure safety for republicans at my town's voting location for the primaries and how to go about this. Luckily the people inside were good about being kind regardless of your affiliation. When they put my ticket in the counter, he tried to get me to hide it in a folder, so he couldn't see how I voted, while he instructed me what to do...LOL. I told him I was not afraid for him to see that I voted straight republican. Too funny. He was really kind so I can only assume he was a fellow Trump fan. I'm really concerned about how things will turn out during the primaries and then the presidential election all across our country. |

My cousin from up north said shes moving to Canada if he gets re-elected. No tangible argument why that would be a bad thing..just pure emotion and triggeredness. Quoting: diverdan01 This is the strangeness I run into with those who claim that they can't stand Trump. When I ask them why, every one of them literally parrot the same lines verbatim that they hear on television: "He's a racist, a rapist, must be impeached, traitor, blah, blah blah." When I ask them what proof they've seen of him being any one of those things, they again repeat what they have been told by Maddow and her ilk, "He's just, just, well, he's just racist because, uh, he wants to build a wall, and that's racist." I've gotten to the point where it's not even worth trying to have the discussion with them anymore due to their inability to reason or form an independent thought of their own. As long as the media remains in control of repeatedly programming the false narratives into the minds of mouth-breathers and die-hard Communist sympathizers, I dare say that it may just be too late now for this country. I used to think all of the Zombie Apocalypse films and predictions were merely the work of fiction, but now I'm not so sure anymore. |
