First, those aren't farmers, they are industrial agriculture managers.

I'm a family farmer with a very small farm compared to these monoculture operations. The fact that we diversify with livestock, poultry, eggs, maple products, wood products, herbs, flowers, cider, berries, prepared foods, smokehouse, etc, etc. a single bad year in any one of those doesn't change a thing. Some years are great for pigs, others are a washout for grapes, but on average everything works out. The demand for real, healthy, non-GMO, non pesticide/herbicide produce and meats has never been higher and once people know the quality of what you do you can name your price.

So the claim that Trump is somehow responsible for "farmers" going out of business or into bankruptcy is about as big a bullshit story as you are likely to find anywhere. The USDA barely acknowledges small farmers, never mind gives us money or resources- all of it with very few exceptions goes to huge corporate agriculture operations, universities and the marketing/research/science sector of agriculture. If they're hurting those folks, it's about time they felt the pinch. Most of them are so heavily subsidized for all the damage they do to our environment they'd be out of business in a heartbeat if they had to actually make money off of their shit products.
