Owners and trainers are scum. Lots of them are broke and just trying to get ahead, like gambling. It's very sad for the animals.

We could build tiny homes for every poor person in the U.S. at $4,000 each. I posted this to another thred and showed the math.

There is enough money $7 billion in welfare we give the horse racing industry to literally buy a tiny home (no rent for life) for every single homeless person in the U.S.

Shocking right? I was shocked when I finished the math and had enough left over to build a tiny home community that is vacant and could house people for events like Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Harvey to evacuate to for a week or month until the storm passes. We could have free buses and concerts and food too with all the extra money left over.

JUst by trimming the fat (welfare) the u.s. tax payers give to the horse racing $7 billion in the last ten years. XOXO

I stopped betting on horse racing almost two decades ago when I learnt of the cruelty. Horses love to run, why do they have to make them suffer instead of rewarding them.
