Imagine your family migrating to another country consisting of a people of a different ethnicity than yours(let's call them locals). This country is a well-run society that has taken centuries of blood, sweat and tears to build up to the current state.

You and your family are then given all the same rights of the locals, and in some cases you are given more (ex affirmative action, minority quotas etc) cause of your "difficult" background.

During your life you manage to advance to the very top tier of this society, and you live a life in abundance. You live infact better than most of the locals.

So what do you do? Are you grateful for living this good life in this well functioning country these people built up? Do you feel like maybe you could give something back? Or maybe you like to tell how much you appreciate these people, their heritage and culture?
