The only thing I'll add is that I originally thought people of the left were ginning the system in order to protect things like trannies reading books to children at the local library. Or open, porous borders. Or anti-gun laws. Or a loose, permissive welfare system.

I don't think so. I think that the bow tie signals something about the characteristics of those bureaucrats who are wearing them. It is a symbol that they hate change and will do anything to make sure that the "real policies" are carried over from one administration to the next despite the will of the people. Let's look at what this impeachment proceeding really signifies. Who sets foreign policy in America, the ensconced bureaucrats, or the people who elected someone to move things in the direction that they wanted. Like their sense of fashion, they are telling you that they will not change to what they consider to be the fickle will of the people, or their perceptions regarding what is fashionable at the time.

IMO Trump should have been tried for high treason after Helsinki. A little known fact is as Commander in Chief he is subject to the uniform code of military justice, and trial by court martial. it is the MILITARYS duty to remove a president by force when it becomes necessary, as outlined in the military oath of office

The punishment for treason if in the militarily chain of command is death by firing squad. Interference in an American election by a foriegn power is considered an act of war.
